Ivonna Zīle
The artist graduated in Painting from the Art Academy of Latvia and has combined her artistic practice with teaching throughout her professional career.
She obtained her teaching qualification through the continuing education programme of the Jāzeps Vītols Latvian Academy of Music and gained extensive experience as a drawing and painting instructor at Riga Design and Art School, where she taught for twelve years.
She has also taught painting in the preparatory courses of the Art Academy of Latvia. Currently, she works as Curator of Educational Programmes at the Museum of Decorative Arts and Design, part of the Latvian National Museum of Art.
She lives and works in Riga, Latvia, where she continues her artistic practice through painting, organising exhibitions, and participating in creative and cultural projects.

In Radiance explores the threshold between the visible and the unknown, where atmosphere, light, and colour merge into a single luminous presence. Inspired by the cool coastal waters of Cape Kolka, the work evokes a space of stillness and contemplation, where boundaries dissolve and the horizon becomes an invitation to the infinite.
