Grazia Tagliente

Grazia Tagliente is an artist and educator working in the fields of printmaking and visual communication. Her research focuses on sustainable printmaking, exploring less toxic materials and alternative printing processes. Her artistic practice spans multiple media, creating connections between printmaking, illustration, artists’ books, and contemporary visual experimentation.

Alongside her artistic activity, she has devoted many years to teaching, encouraging national and international exchange through workshops, seminars, festivals, and competitions related to graphic arts. She has played an important role in promoting sustainable printmaking practices and innovative approaches to art education.

Her fields of research include ex libris, artists’ books, illustration, animation, experimental printmaking, and the relationship between art and nature.

 

Throughout her career, she has participated in numerous solo and group exhibitions in Italy and abroad, developing a body of work distinguished by continuous technical and conceptual experimentation.

Textile Art

One hundred and twenty blue “skins” come together in a dense weave that evokes the surface of water. The imprinted leaves become fossilized traces of an enduring dialogue between the vegetation of the North and the currents of the South.
