Bogdana Daukšta
Bogdana Daukšta is a Latvian artist from Riga, the capital of Latvia. She graduated from the Art Academy of Latvia and has participated in numerous solo and group exhibitions throughout Latvia.
In 2025, she presented a solo exhibition of watercolour paintings in Venice and took part in several group exhibitions in the city, as well as an international watercolour exhibition in Treviso.
Her artistic practice is characterised by a sensitive use of colour and a particular focus on the lightness and transparency inherent to the watercolour medium.

Sometimes fate reveals unexpected paths. I now find myself living between two remarkable cities — Riga, shaped by the Baltic Sea, and Venice, suspended in the mist of the Adriatic.
So much water, so many reflections...
That is why I chose watercolor, for it is water that gives it life.
